Congratulations to Ridgewood Boys Varsity Basketball on earning honors of Regional Champions! Last week, Ridgewood hosted the IHSA 3A Regional where Deerfield, Grayslake Central, Ridgewood and Lake View competed for the IHSA 3A Regional title. In the first semi-final, the 14th seeded Lake View upset the 3rd seed, Deerfield (36-33). Following that game, the Rebels (seeded 12th) pulled off their own upset by defeating the 6th seeded Grayslake Central (59-49). On Friday, February 23rd, Ridgewood (12) competed against Lake View (14) in the IHSA Regional Final and defeated the Wildcats by a score of 82-58. This is the first Regional that Ridgewood Boys Basketball has won since the 2015-16 season. The boys move on to play the 2nd seeded, Lake Forest HS on Tuesday, February 27th at St. Viator HS at 7:30 PM. Go Rebels!
