Last week marked the beginning of a new tradition! The Physical Education departments of Ridgewood, Giles and Union Ridge designed a PE experience for our 8th grade students to get a taste of what high school PE at Ridgewood looks like.
The students were given the PE options taught by the Ridgewood staff and signed up before coming to Ridgewood. Once they arrived, they changed into their PE uniforms and went with their designated teacher for the period. After their PE class, they were given a chance to ask current students about other areas of physical education.
It truly was a huge success and the Ridgewood staff members were impressed by how much effort the Giles and Union Ridge students gave. We look forward to teaching them next school year!
