Graduation
As a reminder, graduation rehearsal is MANDATORY and students will not be allowed to participate in Commencement without it. Practice will be held on June 1st at 9:30 am in the Fieldhouse. The 2021 Graduation Ceremony will take place on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at 7:00pm at the Ridgewood High School Football field. Graduates will use Entrance 2 and report to the Field House by 6pm.
The gates will open for guests at 5:30pm. Guests can enter through the Home of the Rebels gate or the Wilson entrance gate. Seating is first come, first served and families will sit together in pods (groups). Students will receive 8 graduation tickets at the graduation rehearsal if they have fulfilled all the requirements for graduation. A live stream will also be available. The school parking lots will be open and there will be additional parking at Divine Savior Church.
If the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) and the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) release new guidance, or we roll back a phase, we will adjust our plan accordingly. This may include a decrease in the number of family members allowed at the ceremony. Any changes to this plan will be communicated directly to families.
