The Poetry Club provides a weekly space for students to write and perform poetry. Newcomers are welcome to come and listen or come and read.
Benefits
Poetry Club gives students practice in writing and public speaking. It is a great place to build confidence in a warm, supportive environment.
Events
We participate in the Chicago Shakespeare Theater's Slam in the Fall. In the late Winter, we compete in the Rooted & Radical slam poetry festival.
