Athlete(s) of the Week (5/8/23) 

MSC All-Conference – Girls Track & Field 

Congratulations to Natalia Mierzwa, Alexandra Wawrzyk, Niamh Cannon, Amelia Oldak & Mia Cordero (left to right) of the Girls Track & Field team!  On Friday, May 5th, the team travelled to Aurora Central Catholic for the MSC Red Division Championship.  These five girls earned honors of MSC All-Conference in their respective events.  They are as follows (meet results): 

• Natalia Mierzwa 
  • 2nd place - 800m run 
• Alexandra Wawrzyk
  • 3rd place in 100m hurdles 
• Niamh Cannon  
  • 1st place (Conference Champ) - Shot Put 
  • 2nd place – Discus 
• Amelia Oldak
  • 1st place (Conference Champ) – Long Jump 
• Mia Cordero
  • 2nd place – Long Jump
