Algebra 2 In Business is an alternative approach to learning both Algebra and Business concepts. The program is regionally recognized by the Des Plaines Valley Region School-College Alliance Best Practices. The course was created after the huge success and student interest in Geometry In Construction. Student's expressed their desire to learn math concepts through real world experiences.
In the course, students complete multiple business related projects. Throughout the year, students worked with a number of community business leaders. These leaders shared their insight, expertise and experiences. At the completion of the course, students receive Algebra 2 credit, Intro to Business credit and fulfills the Consumer Economics requirement.
