The 2019 inductees to the Ridgewood High School Alumni Hall of Fame come from a variety of diverse professions such as a PGA Professional Pro Golfer, a Professional Storyteller and a Lawyer. This year there are three outstanding alumni being inducted into the RHS Alumni Hall of Fame. These alumni have exhibited outstanding leadership, character and service to their community and country.
Robert Augustine, ‘64; Conrad F Mallek, ‘69; and Jeff Angileri, ‘02; will be honored during the 15th Annual Alumni HoF brunch ceremony held on September 14, 2019 at 11 a.m.
Robert Augustine ‘64
Occupation: Professional Pro Golfer
Achievements:

- Captain of the University of Illinois at Chicago golf team (1965-1969)
- Inducted into Sports Hall of Fame at the University of Illinois at Chicago (2013)
- Played on the PGA tour (1971-1980)
- 4th Place U.S.G.A. Public Links and Member of winning team
- Winner of Illinois Open (2 times) and Arizona Open
- Illinois P.G.A. Senior Match Play Championship, Illinois P.G.A. Senior Masters Championship
- Head Pro at Green Gables Country Club Denver, Colorado (1980-1985)
- Winner of Colorado PGA Championship (1985)
- Senior Teaching Professional for John Jacobs Golf School at Legend Trail Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona (1980-present)
Conrad F Mallek, ‘69
Occupation: Lawyer
Achievements:
- Northern Arizona University, Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (1973) and John Marshall Law School, Juris Doctor Degree (J.D.) (1976)
- Commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps (1975)
- Graduated Naval Justice School (1977)
- Judge Advocate on active duty in Marine Corps (1977-1988)
- United States Marine Corps Reserves (1988-2004)
- Special Assistant to U.S. Attorney at the Federal Magistrate level in Yuma, Arizona and Irvine, California
- Assistant Director for Investigative Support Unit and Grant Officer’s Representative for Baghdad Legal
- Defense Clinic during Operation Iraqi Freedom
- Mentored 25 Iraq Defense Attorneys of the Legal Defense Clinic inside largest prison in Iraq
- Deputy County Attorney for Yuma County, Arizona (1988-2008)
- Department of Justice in Baghdad, Iraq (2008-2009)
Jeffrey Angileri ‘02
Occupation: Storyteller
Achievements:

- News anchor and reporter, WJFW-TV, the NBC affiliate in Rhinelander, Wisconsin
- News anchor and reporter, WKOW-TV, WMSN-TV, the ABC and FOX affiliates in Madison, Wisconsin
- Assistant Director, University Marketing and Communications, UW-Whitewater
- Author of “Inspire. Engage. Transform. | UW-Whitewater 150 Years” – a landmark book commissioned
- to celebrate the university’s Sesquicentennial
- Winner of 25 Collegiate Advertising Awards
- Emcee of UW-Whitewater Foundations events to raise scholarship and program funds for students, including the Purple and White Gala
- Emcee of Ridgewood Foundation events to raise scholarship funds for students
- Voting member of UW-Whitewater Chancellor’s LGBT Taskforce to increase access, recruitment and retention of diverse students, faculty and staff
- Member of Lauderdale Lakes Improvement Association to protect and preserve lakes for future generations
