PARKING LOTTERY INFORMATION:
With so many students wishing to park on campus as well as parking needed for faculty, staff and guests, student parking is limited to sixty-five (65) spaces. For students to park on campus, he or she must have a valid parking permit.
Because there are more people who wish to park on campus than spots available, RHS will conduct an electronic “Parking Permit Application Lottery Drawing.”
Each current freshmen, sophomore and junior is eligible to enter. Students only need to click the link at the bottom of this page and enter his or her Student ID# and full name to be entered into a drawing for one of sixty-five (65) applications. Each student who enters the lottery will be sent an email confirmation and students only need to enter once. Parents cannot enter for children.
65 names will be randomly selected on May 21 by the administration and winners will be notified the following day. Each of the 65 students selected will be issued a 2019-20 parking permit application. The fee for the permit is $100 and cannot be paid until after July 1, 2019. Permit fees cannot be waived. Permit placards will be issued to the student once the application has been received and the fee paid. Tentatively, permits placards should begin to reach students by the third week of July as long as the application has been submitted and fees paid.
Anyone not selected in the original 65 lottery drawing will be placed on a waiting list.
REQUIREMENTS TO ENTER LOTTERY:
- Valid Ridgewood email account
- One entry per student
- Current Ridgewood student who plans to attend RHS in the 2019-2020 school year
- Student Number & Student Name
TIMELINE:
Parking Permit Application Lottery Period: May 14 to May 28 @ 3:00 p.m.
Lottery Drawing: 65 names selected the evening of May 28, 2019 (After 3 p.m.). STUDENTS NEED NOT BE PRESENT
Lottery Winner List Published and sent out via email: Wednesday, May 29
Applications submitted to the Business Office: May through August
Pay fee of $100: After July 1, 2019
Permit Issued to Student: After July 1, once the application and fee has been submitted to the Business Office.
